Vattenfall Inaugurates Two Offshore Wind Farms in Denmark, Powering 350,000 Homes

The 2 wind farms are positioned off the Danish west coast and have a complete of 41 wind generators, every with a capability of 8.4 MW. Each farms are totally inside Danish waters with the generators positioned between 5.5 and 10 kilometres from the shore.

Every turbine tower stands 100 metres tall whereas every turbine blade is 81.4 metres lengthy.

“The opening of those two wind farms strengthens Vattenfall’s presence in Denmark, bringing our whole offshore wind capability to 1.5 GW,” mentioned Anne Mette Traberg, Nation Supervisor of Vattenfall Denmark.
