Cruise Ship Receiving Major Renovation Next Month

Windstar Cruises’ flagship, Wind Surf, is scheduled to have two main phases of renovations. Section 1 will happen in November in Cadiz, Spain and the ship will return to service on December 21, 2024.

Many of the ship’s public areas will obtain a full redesign that features new layouts, furnishings, wall and flooring coverings, lighting, and customized artwork. Premium Suites may even see enhancements and new interactive TVs can be put in in all staterooms.

Section 1 consists of:

Boutique: Bigger retail space with a luxurious really feel

Section 2 will happen in 2026 with the cruise ship’s cabins receiving new furnishings, tender items and décor. The second part may even see updates to Stella Bistro, Veranda, and the health studio.
