UK Imposes Largest Sanctions Package on Russian ‘Shadow’ Tankers, Targeting 18 More Ships

A further 18 shadow fleet ships can be barred from UK ports and unable to entry British maritime companies, bringing the overall variety of oil tankers sanctioned to 43.

On the European Political Neighborhood Summit in July, the UK Prime Minister introduced the shadow fleet name to motion. On Thursday, the US and Canada joined 44 European international locations plus the EU in working collectively to sort out the dangers posed by the shadow fleet.
