The Worldwide Group (‘the Group’) has confirmed its approval of the IQAX eBL interoperable addendum (model dated 6 December 2024). This follows the Group’s earlier approval of the IQAX eBL system and its authorized framework, as outlined within the IQAX eBL Service Phrases and Circumstances dated 17 February 2022.

Goal of the Interoperable Addendum

The Interoperable Addendum allows inter-platform transfers of digital payments of lading (eBLs) between IQAX and different accredited eBL system suppliers. This interoperability is topic to the next situations:

Transfers should be made to a different Worldwide Group-approved platform.
The eBL should be ruled by the legislation of a ‘Recognised Jurisdiction’, as listed within the Annex to the Interoperable Addendum—a jurisdiction that legally acknowledges eBLs as equal to conventional paper payments of lading.

Exclusions and Compliance

All Group Membership Guidelines concerning cargo carriage stay relevant to accredited eBL suppliers simply as they do for conventional paper-based techniques. Key exclusions embody:
