
Brazil’s state-run oil agency Petrobras stated on Saturday that its FPSO Almirante Tamandare vessel started manufacturing on the Buzios area, with the potential to provide as much as 225,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd).
In a securities submitting, the corporate stated this was the primary high-capacity unit put in within the area, situated within the pre-salt layer of the Santos Basin, and can assist carry Buzios’ output to at least one million bpd by the second half of 2025.
