Econowind has obtained a repeat order from Terntank for the set up of eight VentoFoil items on two further methanol-ready hybrid tankers. Following the preliminary order in Could 2023 for 3 newbuilds, this brings the full to 5 vessels and 20 VentoFoils, with every ship fitted with 4 16-meter wind wings.
The primary vessel, Tern Vik, was delivered in April 2025 by China Retailers Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou).
