San Koura Rangi – Southern Ocean scampi trawler delivered to New Zealand fishing company

New Zealand seafood firm Sanford lately took supply of a brand new scampi trawler for operation within the Southern Ocean.

Named San Koura Rangi, the trawler has a metal hull, a size of 32.4 metres (106 toes), a beam of 10 metres (32 toes), a diesel-electric propulsion system to preserve gasoline and cut back emissions, and an influence administration system to optimise engine efficiency.

The vessel was designed to fulfill Sanford’s operational necessities whereas having a hull that was as compact as potential.
