Next stage of Noosa River management plan to take effect from 2026

For the reason that graduation of the Noosa River Administration Plan in September 2023, round 90 vessels have moved out of the brand new “no anchoring” zones alongside the southern foreshore, Woods Bay, Little Woods Bay, Noosa Sound and the northern shoreline of the Noosa River.

As well as, throughout this time, 32 derelict vessels have been resolved. Of those, 16 vessels have left the river and one other 16 vessels had been repaired and made seaworthy by the vessel homeowners after formal directions had been issued by MSQ.
