Through the agreement, HD Hyundai will support the academy with talent development and research, guest lectures on science, technology and entrepreneurship, and visits and field experiences at HD Hyundai affiliates.<\/p>\n<p>The Korea Science Academy is the country\u2019s first science high school for gifted students to offer research-centered education, and every graduate over the past 11 years has advanced to a STEM university.<\/p>\n<p>Jang Gwang-pil, head of the Future Technology Institute at HD Korea Shipbuilding &#038; Offshore Engineering, said, \u201cAmid fast-changing technology and global competition, the importance of science and technology talent is greater than ever,\u201d adding, \u201cThrough this agreement with the Korea Science Academy, which has led engineering education in Korea, we will take the lead in fostering STEM talent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, HD Hyundai is also partnering with leading global universities to carry out education and host forums.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, HD Hyundai signed an educational cooperation MOU with the University of Michigan in the United States and Seoul National University to nurture talent for the shipbuilding industry.
