{"id":53690,"date":"2026-05-19T15:58:12","date_gmt":"2026-05-19T14:58:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/maritimehub.co.uk\/?p=53690"},"modified":"2026-05-19T15:58:12","modified_gmt":"2026-05-19T14:58:12","slug":"j-eng-to-exhibit-at-posidonia-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maritimehub.co.uk\/j-eng-to-exhibit-at-posidonia-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"J-ENG to exhibit at Posidonia 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>J-ENG to exhibit at Posidonia 2026<\/p>\n<p>Japan Engine Corporation (J-ENG) will exhibit at \u201cPosidonia 2026\u201d, an international maritime exhibition held in Athens, Greece, from June 1st to June 5th, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>As the decarbonization of international shipping shifts to the social implementation phase, J-ENG is steadily promoting its efforts as a First Mover towards carbon neutrality by 2050 through the practical application of next-generation fuel engines in marine low-speed two-stroke \u201cUE engines\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this challenge, J-ENG completed the world\u2019s first ammonia-fueled full-scale engine \u201c7UEC50LSJA-HPSCR\u201d in August 2025, and an ammonia carrier equipped with this engine is scheduled to launch in November 2026. In addition, in March 2026, we have started hydrogen co-firing operation for all-cylinder on the hydrogen-fueled full-scale engine \u201c6UEC35LSGH\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, we have also started development of the \u201cUEC60LSJA\u201d, which will be next model for series of ammonia-fueled engines, and the methanol-fueled engine \u201cUEC50LSJM\u201d, expanding our product lineup to meet increasingly diverse fuel requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Besides, we are developing the \u201cUEC60LSH\u201d in the \u201cUEC-LSH\u201d series with the ultra-low fuel consumption for heavy fuel, developing with UEC60LSJA in parallel, and we have a lineup ranging from 33cm to 60cm bore in the \u201cUEC-LSH\u201d series, enabling us to offer optimal solutions for a wide range of vessel types.<\/p>\n<p>At the exhibition, we will introduce J-ENG\u2019s product strategy, accommodating various fuels, as well as the development status and technical features of each engines, and our global licensing.<\/p>\n<p>J-ENG\u2019s booth is in Japan Pavilion (Hall 4-101\/19).
