ABS Oks SHI’s Liquefied Hydrogen Carrier Vessel Design

ABS issued basic design approval (GDA) to Samsung Heavy Industries Co., LTD. (SHI) for its detailed design of a liquefied hydrogen service, a 20,000 cbm vessel with Kind C tanks.

“Hydrogen is a key enabler of the clear power economic system. In decarbonizing totally different business sectors, hydrogen performs crucial roles as a gas, feedstock, power storage and cargo balancing.
