Adani Ports sees logistics revenue jump on rising shipping volumes

Income from operations grew 30 per cent year-on-year to 91.67 billion rupees.

Complete cargo volumes rose 12 per cent to 124 million tonnes, larger than the 11 per cent within the prior quarter, and 10 per cent within the year-ago interval.

Final month, smaller rival JSW Infrastructure posted an increase in its second-quarter volumes, however revenue declined as a result of a shortfall in its iron ore terminal as export demand for the commodity was low.
