
Ares Yachts of Antalya, Turkey, has formally launched crusing yacht SIMENA, marking its daring first enterprise into the 60+ metre crusing yacht enviornment. Measuring in at 62 metres, this steel-and-carbon composite ketch lately hit the water, becoming a member of the ranks of the globe’s prime 25 longest crusing superyachts.
Luxurious yacht SIMENA launches
Designed by Taka Yacht Design with interiors by Design Limitless, SIMENA echoes the grandeur of bygone-era ketches. She boasts teak decks, varnished mahogany trim, and gracefully curved traces that evoke early clipper ships and steam yachts.
Accommodating 12 friends and 9 crew, SIMENA incorporates a full-beam proprietor’s suite on the primary deck, alongside a number of visitor staterooms. The inside showcases walnut cabinetry, refined leathers, and marble-clad loos, with intelligent discreet tech particulars like pop-up TVs. On deck, friends can take pleasure in a Jacuzzi aft, a shaded flybridge with panoramic vistas, and a foredeck lounge—designed for each rest and leisure.

Superyacht SIMENA emerges from the shed
Constructed to RINA Constitution Class C requirements, she’s designed for long-range cruising in a wide range of climates, from tropical seas to winter waters reaching -5 °C. Her glossy but sturdy metal hull and hybrid methods ship each efficiency and eco-conscious effectivity. Beneath her timeless exterior lies a complicated hybrid propulsion system: electrical motors for silent cruising as much as six knots, plus a robust 882 kW diesel engine enabling speeds as much as 14.5 knots and a beneficiant 4,000 NM vary at 11 knots
