Bayesian lifted from water off Sicily coast

The Bayesian was moored off the small port of Porticello, close to Palermo, in August final 12 months when it sank throughout a sudden storm. The yacht was weak to violent winds and was most likely knocked over by gusts of greater than 117 kilometres (73 miles) per hour, an interim British report mentioned final month.

The salvage staff, led by British firm TMC Marine, pumped sea water out of the hull and the vessel was held in an elevated place, surrounded by air pollution containment booms, whereas additional checks have been carried out.
