Book Review: Krithia – Unveiling the Perils of the Gallipoli Amphibious Assault

Sadly, the Winston Churchill-inspired and ill-planned Allied landings at Gallipoli that have been supposed to “pressure the Dardanelles” lacked virtually all of these important substances aside from the latter. Thus, unsurprisingly, it was a lethal, embarrassing and really pricey failure. The writer exhibits why, very clearly and the way the Gallipoli expertise subsequently turned the template for the way to not conduct such operations.
