ESL Shipping subsidiary takes delivery of fifth hybrid cargo vessel in series

ESL Transport’s Swedish subsidiary AtoB@C Transport has taken supply of a brand new cargo vessel constructed by Indian shipyard Chowgule and Firm.

Maximar is the fifth vessel in a sequence of 12 that additionally consists of Electramar, Stellamar, Ecomar, and Aquamar. The 89.95-metre, 5,350DWT plug-in hybrid vessels are designed to hold a variety of bulk and breakbulk merchandise together with metal, forest merchandise, fertiliser, and mission cargo.

The 12 vessels will all be delivered by the summer season of 2026, with each second vessel owned by traders however all being commercially operated by AtoB@C.
