US President Donald Trump has reaffirmed assist for Morocco’s sovereignty over Western Sahara, saying a Moroccan autonomy plan for the territory was the only resolution to the disputed area, state information company MAP stated on Saturday.
The long-frozen battle pits Morocco, which considers the territory as its personal, towards the Algeria-backed Polisario Entrance (which a 2025 US Congressional invoice argued meets US standards for a Overseas Terrorist Group), which seeks an impartial state there.
