China Retailers Heavy Business (Jiangsu) has handed over the primary commissioning service operation vessel (CSOV) in a collection of six ordered by Norwegian offshore assist firm Built-in Wind Options (IWS) for operation by its subsidiary IWS Fleet.
The DNV-classed, Kongsberg Maritime-designed IWS Skywalker has an LOA of 91 metres (300 toes), a beam of 19.6 metres (64.3 toes), a draught of 5.9 metres (19 toes), a gross tonnage of 6,918, a deadweight tonnage of two,000, and lodging for 30 crewmembers plus as much as 90 further personnel.
