China’s state-backed newspaper the World Occasions earlier on Saturday reported on the mission.
Taiwan’s defence ministry mentioned in an announcement that it retains an in depth watch on exercise within the strait and, “dispatches acceptable air and naval forces to make sure the safety and stability,” of the waterway, which separates Communist China from the democratic island of Taiwan, which considers it a global waterway.
