King Ocean Expands Dominican Republic Service with New Port Connection

King Ocean, a U.S. firm that makes a speciality of delivery items throughout the Caribbean, has launched a brand new weekly service! This route will join Port Everglades in Florida to Puerto Plata, a port within the northern Dominican Republic.

For this new loop, King Ocean is utilizing a ship known as the HOHEWIND, which may carry 326 TEUs (Twenty-foot Equal Models, a measure of cargo capability). The HOHEWIND was beforehand named ANJA, and King Ocean is chartering it from a German proprietor named Rass Schiffahrt.

This isn’t King Ocean’s first service to the Dominican Republic.
