Lessons Learned: Engine Room Fire Aboard Chemical Tanker

The Incident

While the tanker was manoeuvring in direction of the designated anchorage space, off St. Eustatius, a fireplace broke out within the engine-room, within the neighborhood of diesel generator no. 2.
