Grampian Kestrel is the primary in a sequence of two CSOVs that Vard is constructing for North Star. The vessel is scheduled to be delivered in June 2026 whereas sister vessel Grampian Eagle will handed over the next August.
The CSOV utilises a design that was developed by Vard Design particularly for North Star. The vessel options an optimised hull kind and shall be fitted with a hybrid propulsion system that may be configured to run on methanol gas sooner or later.
