This order for extra new ships got here when the cruise line introduced that Leah Talactac has been appointed Viking’s President.

Viking now has 24 new river ships on order or below building. 16 of them will enter service by 2026 with eight extra being added to the fleet in 2027 and 2028.

The cruise line additionally has 9 extra ocean ships on order that may enter service between now and 2030.

In 2030, Viking can have a complete of 128 cruise ships of their fleet.
