The White Home has nominated new leaders for the I Marine Expeditionary Power, Navy personnel and Naval Air Techniques Command, in accordance with a Friday Pentagon announcement.
Maj. Gen. Christian Wortman was nominated to guide the California-based I Marine Expeditionary Power and a promotion to lieutenant basic, if confirmed by the Senate. Wortman is at present serving because the commanding basic, third Marine Division, in Okinawa, Japan. Wortman is a profession infantry officer and a 1991 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, in accordance with his official biography. Lt. Gen. Michael Cederholm is the present 1 MEF commander.
Rear Adm. Jeffrey Czerewko, was nominated to guide the Navy’s personnel command as chief of naval personnel with a promotion to vice admiral if confirmed. Czerewko is a profession fighter pilot and a Naval Academy graduate. Vice Adm. Richard Cheeseman was the final CNP and can retire over the summer time.
Rear Adm. John Dougherty was nominated to be the lead Naval Air Techniques Command and a promotion to vice admiral if confirmed. Dougherty at present serves as commander, Naval Air Warfare Heart, plane division at Naval Air Techniques Command. He’s a profession fighter pilot turned aviation engineering obligation officer and a graduate of the Naval Academy.
Vice Adm. Carl Chebi at present leads NAVAIR.
