Petrobras’ strike-hit P-40 platform shut after gas leak

A fuel leak at Petrobras’ P-40 offshore oil platform in Brazil’s Campos basin on Thursday has led to the preventive shutdown of manufacturing, the agency mentioned in a press release on Thursday.

The platform, situated within the Marlim Sul area, one of many agency’s smaller websites, was below the administration of a contingency crew resulting from a staff’ strike that has entered its fourth day, union Sindipetro-NF mentioned in a press release earlier on Thursday.
