Elaine Helm joins this system to mirror on the twentieth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, and her time as a journalist embedded with the U.S. navy throughout their response and restoration operations in New Orleans and Houston.

Elaine Helm is a communications skilled and former journalist who lives and works within the Seattle space. She was the navy reporter for the Kitsap Solar and the founder and editor of the pioneering Northwest Navy Information web site.
