Lt. Col. Craig Whiteside, (Ret.) PhD., joins this system to debate the brand new e-book he co-authored with Ian Rice, Non-state Particular Operations: Capabilities and Results. Dr. Craig Whiteside is Professor of Nationwide Safety Affairs on the US Naval Struggle School resident program on the Naval Postgraduate College, Monterey, California. He’s a analysis fellow at George Washington College’s Program on Extremism and the Worldwide Centre for Counterterrorism-The Hague. Whiteside’s present work focuses on the management succession and army doctrine of the Islamic State militant group, and he co-authored The ISIS Reader: Milestone Texts of the Islamic State Motion. His newest e-book is Non-State Particular Operations: Capabilities and Results. He’s the 2022 winner of the U.S. Naval Struggle School Excellence in Analysis Award.
