At least 27 killed after Vietnam tourist boat capsizes in Halong Bay

Many of the vacationers had been from the capital, Hanoi, native newspaper VnExpress reported. There was no official announcement on the nationality of the vacationers as emergency crews stored in search of survivors.

Rescue groups discovered 11 survivors and recovered 27 our bodies, eight of them kids, the state-run Vietnam Information Company stated, citing native authorities.

Halong Bay, about 200 kilometres (125 miles) northeast of Hanoi, attracts tens of hundreds of tourists yearly. Boat excursions are massively in style.
