
Kongsberg Maritime has secured a contract for the design and built-in gear package deal for a brand new walk-to-work offshore service vessel (OSV), to be constructed by ST Engineering Marine in Singapore for an oil and fuel firm.
The 97-metre vessel of Kongsberg Maritime UT 5520 design will accommodate 106 folks and encompasses a motion-compensated gangway to allow protected switch of personnel between to and from offshore installations.
