Rocket Lab USA unveils plan for rocket retrieval barge

Rocket Lab USA has revealed particulars about Return On Funding, an ocean touchdown platform for reusable rocket missions returning to Earth.

Return On Funding will probably be a 400-foot (122-metre) modified barge, the Oceanus provided by Canal Barge, that will probably be personalized to allow landings at sea for its reusable Neutron rocket.

Modifications will embrace autonomous floor assist gear to seize and safe the landed Neutron, blast shielding to guard gear throughout Neutron landings, and station-keeping thrusters for exact positioning.
