Jan De Nul to install cables to connect future floating wind farms off France’s Southern Brittany coast

Jan De Nul will set up the cables that transport the renewable vitality of France’s first commercial-scale floating wind farms from the offshore substation to shore. Along with Hellenic Cables, Jan De Nul is chargeable for the design, manufacturing, set up and safety of three high-voltage alternating present (HVAC) 225kV cable programs, which collectively span some 150 kilometres.

Along with transport and set up, the marine contractor will embed the cables within the seabed.
