In November, each the Port of Tacoma Fee and the Tacoma Public Colleges Board gave last approval for the venture in unanimous votes.
The middle will open to college students in 2026, with the port enterprise workplace opening in 2027.
Course choices will embrace tracks in manufacturing, expert trades, maritime sustainability, transportation, expertise, and logistics. The packages will probably be out there to college students from throughout Pierce County freed from cost.
