Lower than a month after Viking floated-out a brand new ship for the Nile River, the cruise line celebrated one other building milestone with one more new ship float-out.
The float-out of Viking Thoth came about on the Massara shipyard in Cairo. The ship will now transfer to the ultimate stage of building, the inside build-out.
Viking Thoth will enter service this fall with Viking Amun, two new Viking ships that can sail on the Nile River. The vessels will sail Viking’s extraordinarily fashionable 12-day Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary.
Viking Thoth will likely be an an identical ship to Viking Osiris, Viking Aton, Viking Sobek, Viking Hathor and Viking Amun. The ships carry 82 friends in 41 staterooms and have the cruise line’s signature Scandinavian design.

The ship will give Viking eight river ships crusing on the Nile River. The cruise line has plans so as to add a further 4 ships for a complete of 12 vessels in Egypt by 2027.
