
Kallas stated the EU will work on imposing extra sanctions on Russia’s “shadow fleet” vessels and its enablers, aiming to have pre-boarding offers with flag states.
The EU has already imposed a number of sanctions on Russia for his or her position within the Ukraine warfare. Earlier this month, it unveiled a brand new package deal of sanctions, which features a ban on Russian liquefied pure gasoline from January 2027, in addition to new measures on the so-called shadow tanker fleet and two impartial Chinese language oil refineries.
