Genoa Maritime Forum 2026 to Foster Networking and Collaboration Across the Maritime Industry

Genoa Maritime Forum 2026 to Foster Networking and Collaboration Across the Maritime Industry

Taking place on June 17 – 18 in Genoa, the Genoa Maritime Forum will bring together a diverse audience of maritime professionals from across the globe. The event will welcome shipowners from local and regional players to international leaders alongside ship managers, port authorities, regulators, policymakers, classification societies, and a strong contingent of technology companies, suppliers, and service providers.

Although the forum will feature a robust agenda of ten panel discussions, it is equally designed as a premium networking platform where meaningful business connections

are a central focus. Over the course of the two days, attendees will have ample opportunities to connect, share insights, and identify practical solutions to real-world

operational challenges.

The conference program will also spotlight key industry trends and developments. Navigating the Green Horizon will address global decarbonization strategies, while

Fuel Pathways Showdown will examine leading fuel options such as methanol, ammonia, LNG / Bio-LNG, and drop-in biofuels. Sessions like Energy Efficiency Revolution and Retrofit & Conversion will emphasize practical measures to enhance performance and reduce emissions.

Human and operational aspects will also be a key focus. The Human Element will explore seafarer wellbeing and safety, while Cyberproof Operations will concentrate on safeguarding fleets and port infrastructure. Forward-looking discussions such as The Digital Ocean, AI in Maritime Operations, and Next-Generation Shipbuilding will highlight the transformative impact of digitalization and emerging technologies. The program will conclude with Cruise Fleet Modernization, focusing on efficiency, compliance, and the onboard experience.

A standout feature of the forum is its strong networking dimension, supported by approximately 30 exhibitors. Shipowners and ship managers will have the opportunity to engage directly with technology providers, maintenance firms, crewing agencies, and other key service partners offering a broad range of solutions. These interactions are intended to go beyond initial introductions, enabling deeper discussions around specific business needs and potential collaborations.

Dedicated networking sessions will be complemented by a gala cocktail reception, offering a more relaxed setting where conversations can continue, and professional

relationships can develop organically. With its rich maritime heritage and picturesque coastal setting, Genoa provides the perfect backdrop for the forum, reinforcing its role as a hub for connection, collaboration, and the growth of new partnerships across the global shipping industry.
